Job Description: Credit Team Lead (Commerical Clients)

Job Summary:


We seek a seasoned and proactive professional to lead our Credit Team, specializing in commercial clients. The ideal candidate will manage credit operations, develop and implement credit policies, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. This role demands strong leadership, strategic insight, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Marketing Team to resolve complex credit-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Credit Team to ensure operational efficiency and high performance.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review credit policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate credit proposals, provide recommendations, and oversee the credit approval process.
  • Design and maintain credit systems to optimize operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze workflows and propose process improvements to boost productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to understand customer needs and support complex loan structures.
  • Monitor, mentor, and develop team members to achieve organizational goals.
  • Approve or reject credit applications within authorized limits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in banking or FI, with prior management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of lending principles, regulatory guidelines, and industry-specific practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent credit judgment and a commitment to high ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua is a plus).
