Key Responsibilities

1. Research & Experimental Management

Contribute to the development of novel POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) systems, including sample extraction, PCR amplification, chip hybridization, and related processes.

Design and optimize primers, probes, and plasmids to ensure precise experimental outcomes.

Update and refine experimental protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance standardization, operability, and error reduction.

Regularly report experimental progress, challenges, and results to project managers, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Efficiently complete ad hoc tasks assigned by leadership to align with lab and project goals.

2. Laboratory Operations Management

Coordinate lab workflows, experimental schedules, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency.

Manage report turnaround times and ensure timely submission of results while maintaining strict data accuracy and reliability.

Oversee administrative tasks critical to lab stability and growth, including compliance, documentation, and cross-departmental coordination.

 

Qualifications

1. Education

Master’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A PhD is preferred.

2. Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in molecular diagnostics, microbiology research, or a related laboratory setting.

At least 3 years of team management experience, with a proven ability to lead technical staff.

Experience in lab planning, SOP development, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end research project management.

3. Technical Skills

Experimental Expertise:

Proficiency in PCR, molecular cloning, nucleic acid extraction, microbial culture, and detection techniques.

4.Management Skills:

Familiarity with laboratory quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025) and expertise in SOP optimization.

5.Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English for literature review, technical report writing, and international communication.
