We are seeking an experienced ESG Consultant to join our team and lead the coordination of ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will provide clients with comprehensive ESG services and advisory support, ensuring compliance with various reporting frameworks and standards.
Responsibilities:
Take the lead in coordinating the regular collection, analysis, and review of ESG data to facilitate ongoing process improvements.
Provide clients with a comprehensive suite of ESG services and advisory support aimed at upgrading their ESG performance, managing risks, engaging with stakeholders, and improving data management.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of the HKEx ESG Reporting Guide along with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
Prepare and critique ESG reports that adhere to various sustainability reporting standards, including HKEX Appendix 27, GRI, and CASS CSR 4.0.
Carry out ESG readiness assessments and develop strategies for effective carbon emission management.
Leverage trend analysis to aid clients in establishing feasible emissions targets that comply with SBTi, CDP, and TCFD, while offering expert guidance on formulating and implementing the necessary policies.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Demonstrated experience in ESG consulting or sustainability reporting is essential.
Profound knowledge of relevant ESG reporting standards and frameworks, including the HKEx ESG Reporting Guide and GRI, is necessary for success in this role.
Capable of conducting thorough assessments and strategizing for improvements in ESG and sustainability initiatives.
Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven project management experience, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
