Job Summary

The primary focus of the role is to be subject matter expert in finance data flow, developing a holistic view on the system flows and general finance operations processes, strengthening finance user environment by applying professional knowledge such as audit assertion, etc.

In addition, the role will support finance related projects and enhancements, responsible for tasks such as compilation of User Requirements/ Functional specifications as well as participation in User Acceptance tests etc. 

The successful applicant thrives in a fast paced, rapid growth, deadline focused environment, where learning fast, taking the initiative and clear communication are critical. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Control and monitoring of System flows 
  • Provide enhancements and solutions where appropriate
  • Collect and document user requirements, 
  • Learn, document and acquaint with finance systems
  • Documentation of tasks and procedures
  • Manage tasks assigned, facilitate and work with both Finance users and IT developers to achieve required deliverables
  • Manage effective communications across teams

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in information technology/ Accounting/ Business or related disciplines 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analyst/Operations/ Accounting/ consulting 
  • Experience with data management
  • Experience with project development
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountants) or equivalent
  • Familiar with insurance operations will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
