Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (FI)

I'm currently supporting an established financial institute to look for a high calibre Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. This pivotal role will drive recruitment efforts, ensuring the organisation attract and retain top talent to meet strategic objectives.

The successful calibre will be expected to,

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to develop and implement strategic recruiting initiatives that maximize visibility and result in high-quality hires.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including vacancy consultation, sourcing strategy development, and candidate assessment using behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand hiring needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
  • Stay current on recruitment trends by networking within the industry and participating in relevant events.
  • Create proactive talent pipelines for critical skills, leveraging both active and passive sourcing methods.
  • Drive the candidate selection process, equipping hiring managers with the necessary tools to make informed decisions.
  • Ensure all recruitment processes comply with relevant regulations and promote fairness in hiring.
  • Contribute to regional initiatives and broader recruitment projects as needed.
  • Help to manage or coach junior recruiter or coordinator.

Successful candidates should possess,

  • University degree holder with 6-10 years' stable and progressive recruitment experience in in-house settings, of which at least 3 years within the financial services sector.
  • Customer-centric with exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong sense of organisational matrix with excellent consultative approach focused on delivering business solutions.
  • Highly organized and able to navigate shifting priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide salary recommendations based on internal equity and market data.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive recruitment initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing or at least supporting the generation of regular headcount forecasting, budgeting, vacancy reporting, with strong Excel skills.
  • Any experience supporting annual audits will be an advantage.
  • Professional fluency in English and Cantonese.
