Our client is a Listed Real Estate developer, they are currently looking for the Chief Legal Officer who has knowledge of Law and real estate sales in HK.

Responsibilities:

• Advise and suggest on major company decisions from a relevant professional perspective;
• Assist with legal matters related to company restructuring;
• Coordinate with external lawyers to review restructuring documents for potential risks to the company;
• Review company contracts and relevant legal matters to protect the company’s interests;
• Ensure effective risk control for the company;
• Review documents, understand arbitration details and content, collaborate with relevant legal teams to handle company arbitration matters;
• Assist in sales and marketing departments in reviewing and modifying contracts;
• Provide professional legal opinions and analyses to various departments, reviewing and amending relevant contracts or documents;
• Support the company in due diligence processes related to property acquisitions and disposals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years' experience in relevant industry;
• Hong Kong Qualified Lawyer;
• Experience in Debt Restructuring and Litigation/ Company restructuring;
• Knowledge of law and real estate sales;
• Preferably worked in the property development sector.
• Strong business mindset with a strategic approach to legal matters;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
