Senior Operation Officer, Landscape

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, installation and maintenance of landscape for Airport Area
  • Evaluate landscape contractor's services performance by conducting site inspections and audits, and suggest improvements
  • Manage and complete airport-wide landscape and irrigation enhancement works through effective collaboration with technical departments and contractors
  • Coordinate with internal departments and contractors in handling the interfaces between airport's landscape and the construction sites, and take timely inspections and follow-up actions to ensure the landscape reinstatement complies with relevant standards
  • Assist in preparing the landscape enhancement proposals and the specifications of landscape contracts
  • Evaluate the planting and maintenance methodology and implementation programme provided by landscape contractors to ensure the landscaping works can be executed safely and efficiently
  • Manage landscape team's service fleet vehicles and formulate vehicles maintenance schedule with technical department
  • Assist in planning, monitoring and controlling the budget of landscape and related enhancement projects
  • Required to perform outdoor duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Landscape, Horticulture, Geography, Environmental Science, Biology, Business Administration, Economics or other related disciplines with minimum of 3 years' solid work experience, preferably in landscape management
  • Possessing a professional diploma or certificate in tree management or landscape management will be an advantage
  • Good organization and execution skills. Observant, careful and customer-focused with good attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. Team player and able to work with different people
  • Quick learner, diligent and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possession of HK driving license class 1 or 2 will be a plus
