ACCESS is a multi-disciplinary center for advancing IC design and design automation technologies to enable novel data-centric computing paradigms supporting a wide range of AI applications.

We are seeking a high-caliber individual to provide secretarial and administrative support for the management team members. The appointee will be responsible for providing services in the following areas:

Responsibilities

  • Provide all-round secretarial support to the Executive Director and the Head of Administration, including the handling of confidential correspondence, scheduling meetings, appointments, travelling arrangements and answering external enquiries;
  • Provide secretarial and logistic support to legal board and respective committees, including meeting scheduling, preparation of necessary documents and correspondence, etc.;
  • Provide secretarial support to ACCESS faculty members when necessary;
  • Handle general administrative duties and enquiries, provide support in office procurements, such as stationaries and other office supplies and consumables; .
  • Co-ordinate and procure respective services / maintenance contracts and monitor respective services quality in the Administration Team;
  • Provide support to Centre’s events and operation logistics;
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Head of Administration.

Requirements

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or above, preferably in business administration, secretarial or equivalent. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in secretarial and administration. Demonstrated experience/ exposure in higher education environment is desirable. He/she should have strong communication skills, superior interpersonal and organizational skills, and analytical thinking abilities. He/she should capable to work under pressure and tight timelines. Also, he/she must be an excellent team-player with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to handle tasks independently. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) is required.

Terms of Appointment

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
