About The Role
This role is part of the Global Strategy Team of the Dispersions & Resins Operating Division. The Global Strategy team is supporting the top management in defining long term vision and strategy for respective strategic business units, identify organic and inorganic opportunities to grow revenues across or beyond the current portfolio.
The intern role will focus on market intelligence and will support the strategic decision making with meaningful data and analysis as well as driving the digitalization of market intelligence.
How You Will Do It
Drive the digitalization of market intelligence utilizing tools such as Power BI
Support collecting relevant chemicals’ supply-demand data and monitor dynamics
Monitor competitors’ performances and movements to facilitate decision-making
Produce desk market research, market analysis & competitive analysis to support growth initiatives
What We Look For
Student of Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Business, Statistics, Chemistry or related disciplines
Commitment to at least 6-month full-time internship from April 2025
Previous job experience in consulting, corporate strategy or market intelligence is a plus point
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI/Tableau
Curious and keen to learn and develop a 'critical thinking' mindset
Excellent analytical skills; Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Being proactive to suggest new ideas on how to further improve and/or simplify existing processes
Able to communicate complex topics in a concise and structured manner
High proficiency in oral and written English; any other Asian language is a plus
