My client, a reputable financial services company is seeking talent to join their Credit Control team in Hong Kong. The selected individual will report to the team head, overseeing 2-3 junior subordinates, with a budget of 40 -60k.
*Junior applicant will be considered as associate.
Duties
Monitor and follow up on arrears, problem, and potential delinquent accounts.
Guide and supervise collection activities in line with company policies.
Engage with delinquent clients to negotiate settlements and reschedule payments.
Coordinate with the Credit Team for inspections and assist in monitoring collateral disposal.
Attend creditors' meetings and court hearings; liaise with legal firms, repossession agents, and debt collectors to evaluate performance and costs.
Ensure adherence to legal requirements by coordinating with HKMA, Official Receiver, and other relevant bodies.
Assist in reviewing and enhancing credit control policies to improve efficiency while ensuring compliance.
Prepare credit risk reports and compile monthly activity reports.
Uphold company policies and ethical standards in all operations.
Participate in various projects and assignments as needed.
Requirement
Experienced in accounting and financial analysis; exposure to the leasing industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; preferred majors include Finance, Commerce, or related disciplines
Proficient in financial analysis and credit control.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
High integrity; effective team player.
