  • Manage all around IT operations including business applications and IT security compliance, as well as new project demands for around x100 users in its Hong Kong office

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for the effective use and enhancement of business applications across the organization, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability through integration.
  • Create architecture designs, including data, applications, and technology architectures, to guide IT’s development and investment.
  • Oversee application projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor application performance metrics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities and diagnose application-related issues, coordinating with other IT members for resolution.
  • Lead and manage IT projects, including business application implementation, system upgrades, and IT infrastructure enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets while managing risks throughout the project lifecycle, including risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance policies, best practices, and compliance frameworks to ensure IT operations and projects adhere to security and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all business applications comply with security policies through regular audits and assessments and implement incident response plans with mitigation strategies for security breaches with the IT security team (e.g., SRAA, OWASP, Penetration Test, Stress Test, PIA, etc.).
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems, business applications, network infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Manage IT service delivery and support, ensuring efficient incident management, problem resolution, and proactive system monitoring to minimize downtime and enhance business continuity.
  • Develop and implement IT operational strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics to optimize IT service efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and third-party partners for IT solutions, contract management, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation, assessing their potential to improve business applications and IT operations.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in business application development, IT operations, and project management, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in teams or projects with a proven track record of successful implementation.
  • Extensive experience in large-scale business application projects from planning, discovery, design, implementation, quality control, and delivery, with a broad understanding of business functions and IT enterprise systems.
  • Hands-on experience managing IT service operations, IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity frameworks to ensure efficient and secure IT environments.
  • Expertise in risk management throughout the project lifecycle, including risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.
  • Strong project management skills with a deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies to ensure smooth execution of IT initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership teams.
  • Prior working experience in a corporate headquarter IT function is a must. Industry experience in real estate, property management, or park management can be beneficial.
  • Solid experience in conducting security risk assessments, audits, penetration tests, privacy impact assessments, and stress tests is a must; knowledge of DAST, SAST, WAF, OWASP Top 10, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF frameworks is a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, PMP, and PMI-ACP are a must; TOGAF, PRINCE2, CISA, CISM can be beneficial.
