Social Work Supervisor (Ref: VR-SWS)

Vocational Rehabilitation Services (Wong Tai Sin)

Responsibilities:

  1. To oversee the management and development of several service units and projects of Vocational Rehabilitation of the Association and monitor the service projects and business to ensure the provision of quality and effective services;
  2. To provide guidance, supervision, consultation and support to the staff team members;
  3. To provide advices and guidance on service development in accordance with the policies and objectives of the Association;
  4. To oversee and develop evidence-informed practice within the services;
  5. To assist in planning, consolidating and evaluating existing services including identifying service gap(s) and developing new initiatives;
  6. To ensure the services meet the objectives and to achieve quality standard;
  7. To liaise with other government departments or welfare agencies on matters relating to service users’ welfare;
  8. To plan and monitor annual budget and expenditure;
  9. To be responsible for the Quality Assurance of the Association including SQS, ISO, OSH, etc.; and
  10. To perform ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor(s).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in Social Work;
  2. A minimum of 10 years of social service experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role;
  3. Exhibit leadership capabilities with comprehensive knowledge of vocational rehabilitation for individuals in recovery;
  4. Possess strong organizational, problem-solving and crisis management skills;
  5. Demonstrate resourcefulness and effective teamwork, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; and
  6. Maintain proficiency in report writing and presentations in both Chinese and English.
