Clinical Psychologist (Officer-in-charge) (Ref: CP-OIC)

Clinical Psychological Services (Sham Shui Po)

Responsibilities:

  • To lead and oversee the Clinical Psychological Services of the Association;
  • To supervise a team of Clinical Psychologist, practitioners and team members;
  • To coordinate with other service units for promotion of mental health;
  • To write up proposals, liaise with funders and manage different service projects;
  • To provide psychological support services including clinical assessment, clinical groups and programmes, intervention and treatment for individuals with psychiatric or Autism Spectrum Disorders or their families;
  • To provide clinical supervision, case consultation and trainings for professional staff working with persons with mental health problems;
  • To develop and adapt psychological intervention protocols;
  • To manage, design and administer research projects; and
  • To carry out other duties as required by the supervisor(s).

Requirements:

  • Master Degree or above in Clinical Psychology from a local university, or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in managing a team;
  • A member of the Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists is preferred;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; 
  • Be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team, independent, flexible, innovative and dynamic with good interpersonal skills;
  • Keen observation with strong people skills;
  • Be organized and be able to handle high volume and spectrum of work; and
  • Embrace person-centered practice with honest and collaborative manner.
