ROLE OVERVIEW

With a strong track record of developing and promoting finance professionals from within the Group, Jardine Matheson is continuing with the recruitment of high caliber Finance professionals at the Group level. Successful candidates will be placed within the Jardine Pacific Group at our businesses in Asia, where they will have the opportunity to work directly with the senior management. High performers may be promoted to a finance role in one of the Group operating companies.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The first 18 to 24 months of the role will focus on improving business performance through operational finance, corporate finance, investments and development opportunities in the region.
• In addition, the role will involve working with the Finance Directors or CFOs of Jardine Matheson Group companies
• Successful candidates will undergo executive development initiatives where they will have the opportunity to further enhance their leadership skills and expand their capabilities

KEY ATTRIBUTES

Experience

• Finance, business or banking background, with an accounting or similar qualification and a good degree
• 8-10 years of working experience, preferably with sector knowledge in the Consumer, Retail, Property, Hospitality, or Engineering industries
• Holder of professional Accounting / Finance certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, CIMA, etc.)
• Solid track record in commercial and operational finance, corporate finance, investment and / or other relevant experience
• Experiencing of living and working in Asia
• Multi-national experience is a significant advantage

• Cross-culturally and socially adept
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
