Responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement of meat, seafood, and other food products for the company.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's business objectives and cost reduction plans.
• Implement and review purchasing policies and procedures, while streamlining purchasing workflows. 
• Responsible for supervising the whole procurement process for vendor selection, sourcing, price comparing, negotiating, approval and delivery.
• Efficiency to review and respond messages (email / WhatsApp / WeChat) to oversee daily procurement operations for food and non-food items including sourcing, purchase orders and replenishment ordering to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with food safety standards.
• Co-ordinate with the marketing team and chefs to source new items (both food and non-food), food sampling and samples evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure procurement operation smoothly.
• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with international and domestic suppliers. Ensure that suppliers provide quality products / services to meet requirements and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and terms.
• Manage supplier relationships, evaluate and select suitable vendors to ensure competitiveness in quality, delivery timelines, and pricing.
• Monitor market trends, analyze supply and demand patterns, and anticipate changes in pricing, availability, and quality of food.
• Utilize ERP systems for data management and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of procurement data.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement/purchasing transactions, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Preparing monthly reports and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, with a minimum of 1 year at a supervisory level, Experience in F&B or catering preferred.
• proven ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cross-functional teams and at a multiple organizational levels.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Chinese Word processing and ERP experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Less experienced candidates will be considered for the Senior Procurement Officer position.
