We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for Contract No. GE/2025/02 - Landslip Prevention and Mitigation Programme, New Territories East and New Territories West, Phase 1, Contract 2.

This 30-month project, involving upgrading of twenty-five substandard government man-made features in the New Territories and Kowloon, as well as implementation of hazard mitigation works for one study area at Tin Liu, will be commenced in June 2025.

Qualifications & Experience required:
  • Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, OR
  • Successfully completed a recognised technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline, OR
  • Successfully completed a recognised craft apprenticeship with 2 years’ experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline, OR
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline; AND
  • Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above

Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing government’s terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4. Application deadline on or before 27 March 2025.
