Position Overview:

This is a full-time on-site role based in Hong Kong. As the Regional & International Business Development Manager for our logistics and courier operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of our business in China mainland and Hong Kong and you will play a crucial role in international business development, expanding market reach beyond the region . You will lead all operational aspects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service while achieving financial and operational targets. Your leadership will be crucial in expanding our market presence, optimizing our logistics network, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in the logistics and courier sector.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Implement best practices in logistics management, warehousing, and delivery processes to enhance service quality.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
  • Manage key client relationships and works to build new ones.
  • Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  • Manages full employees’ life cycle from attraction to separation, including adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and applicable laws.
  • Ensures warehouse operations are in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Implements and manages safety training programs and practices.
  • Optimize operational costs while maintaining service excellence.
  • Fulfils requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers.
  • Leads, supports and improves operations and processes to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver service and financial results.
  • Deploys continuous improvement efforts to drive productivity, reduce operating costs, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively with others to provide seamless quality customer service.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversees and assists with new customer onboarding from an operational perspective to ensure launches are successful, reporting any issues internally for prompt resolution.
  • Oversees inbound and outbound shipments and inventory.
  • Establishes work schedules to ensure customer service level agreements are met without exception.
  • Analyses operational and customer performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports and collaboration with others.
  • Investigates, resolves and/or escalates customer service issues, as appropriate.



Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years proven experience in similar managerial position in the Express Air Freight, Courier & Logistics Industry.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Good cooperation and team skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Detail oriented and ability to work with tight timeframes and under pressure.
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to cultural differences in business
