The Team Head - Generalist will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives while overseeing the development and execution of compensation strategies. This position will lead a team of 4-5 professionals, ensuring that compensation practices support the attraction, retention, and engagement of top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing insights and solutions related to human resources and compensation.
Compensation Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that are competitive and aligned with market trends.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive positioning of compensation packages across the organization.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 professionals in the compensation and business partner functions, fostering a culture of high performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR business partners and senior management to align compensation strategies with organizational goals.
Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee understanding and appreciation of compensation and benefits programs.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop key metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of compensation strategies and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR business partnering and compensation, with at least 7-8 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and relevant legislation in Hong Kong.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience in managing budgets and financial planning related to compensation and benefits.
