Business Development Manager


Key Responsibilities


  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of indoor sales and sales ex-ecutive
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and under-standing their needs
  • To act as a central point to liaise and co-ordinate with internal and external customers, so as to ensure a seamless communication of service requirements
  • Prepare quotation (both ad hoc and RFQ) to customer and communicate with related parties to get the best rate & win the business
  • Conduct regular customer meeting and offer recommendations for service improvement as well as new service
  • Co-ordinate / prepare regular customer management reporting
  • Prepare monthly export & import tariff


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • 5 years or above experience in Logistics Industry and/or NVOCC business
  • Mature, able to work independently, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment;
  • Ability to work across functionally and build partnership relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong numerate, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunity.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills, leadership skills and ability to work under pressure
