We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages:

Part-time Research Assistant (Project No: R6750) (E&L) - (25000GS)

Major Duties And Responsibilities

The appointee will assist in research projects related to early childhood education and generative technologies. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Assisting in conducting phone follow-ups, fieldwork, data entry and analysis;
  • Coordinating research projects; and
  • Performing general administrative, operational, and any other duties as assigned.

Candidates

Candidates Should Possess The Following Qualifications, Experience, And Competence

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Information Technology or a related discipline from a recognised university;
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), good research skills, and the ability to multitask and work collaboratively and independently;
  • Familiar with MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SPSS;
  • Willing to take the initiative in assisting teammates; and
  • Relevant research or project administration experience will be an advantage.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
