Our client is a prominent organization in the healthcare sector, dedicated to leveraging technology for innovation and operational excellence. They are seeking an Application Support Engineer to enhance their application systems' performance and reliability.
Your new role
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize application performance in production environments
- Develop and execute testing plans to validate application functionality.
- Assist in configuring applications across development and production.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure best practices in deployment.
- Maintain documentation of configurations and release processes.
- Provide training and technical support to end users
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an Application Support Engineer role or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development and database management (Relational and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and monitoring tools.
- Qualifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), knowledge in DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) are preferred
