Our company is involved in the shipping and investment business and is looking for a competent Senior Accountant to support the Financial Controller.

Job Description – Senior Accountant

Key Job Requirements

·              Enter financial transactions into accounting software accurately and promptly

·              Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality

·              Process invoices, payments, and payroll entries as required

·              Support accounts payable and accounts receivables functions

·              Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

·              Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports and budgets

·              Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

·              Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations

·              Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information

·              Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve issues

·              Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

·              Serve as the primary point of contact between the agent and the company for any company annual return filing, business registration and etc.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience.

·        Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

·        Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·        3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.

·        CPA certification preferred.
