香港速度滑冰學院是香港首位短道速滑培訓機構，每年為數百名的不同年齡段及滑冰能力的學員提供短道速滑的課程。香港速度滑冰學院主要為青年運動員提供奧林匹克級別的培訓並時常舉辦各種體驗活動及基礎班，全力推動冰上運動在香港的發展。目前，香港速度滑冰學院在以下的本地溜冰場經營：康城溜冰場、九龍灣溜冰場（Mega Ice/Mega Box)、愉景灣溜冰場、深灣遊艇會。本學院正在招聘幾位初級助理在本學院的課程指教初學者滑冰基礎及短道基本技術動作。面試後，求職者需要參與本學院安排的教練培訓課。

主要職責

• 在本學院安排的課程裡指教初學者滑冰基礎及基本短道速滑技術動作；執行高級教練指定的訓練計劃。
• 除了教練職責之外，初級助理的其他職責包含為學員設置租用的裝備、設置安全墊、輔導兒童並保障兒童安全、與家長溝通及報導學員的上課狀況。
• 履行由上司所指派的任何適當工作。

職位要求

• 中學畢業程度；
• 基本滑冰能力（必須擁有；求職者需要具備基礎滑冰經驗，要求在冰面上可以站穩並在無幫助下往前滑行）
• 持有由相關機構頒發的有效教練証書；（首選擁有香港教練培訓委員會的教練認證，一級/二級/三級）
• 擁有輔導兒童及青少年經驗
• 廣東話、英文及普通話
• 認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳

Short Track Speed Skating – Junior Assistant (Part-time/Per-diem)

Hong Kong Speed Skating Academy Introduction

The Hong Kong Speed Skating Academy is Hong Kong's premier Short Track Speed Skating training course provider, coaching hundreds of ice skaters of all ages and abilities every year. The Hong Kong Speed Skating Academy focuses on Olympic-level coaching for junior skaters, and also regularly conducts events and foundational classes focused on popularizing winter sports in Hong Kong. At this time, the Hong Kong Speed Skating Academy operates courses at four ice rinks: LOHAS Ice Rink, Mega Ice (Mega Box), Discovery Bay Ice Rink and the Aberdeen Marina Club. We are looking for multiple part-time junior assistants to help coach at our classes, focusing on helping beginner skaters gain foundational skills. This job will require brief training seminars and professional development before starting.

Duties:

The role of the “Junior Assistant” is to execute the mission, vision and values of the Hong Kong Speed Skating Academy at the direction guidance of the senior coach, head coach, executive director and executive committee. The Junior Assistant is responsible for coaching students during scheduled classes and executing the coaching plan of the senior coach, with the highest degree of excellence and integrity while complying and enforcing guidelines set by the Academy. The Junior Assistant's duties outside of direct coaching will include helping set-up safety equipment, preparing rental equipment before each class, ensuring child safety, communicating with parents, guiding young children and other duties set by the senior coach and/or head coach.

Requirements:

High School Diploma

Basic ice skating experience (required; able to skate forward around the ice rink without assistance)

Coaching certification in ice skating or general sports; Hong Kong Coaching Committee Accreditation preferred (Level 1, 2, or 3)

Experience in working with young children；Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

English, Cantonese, or Mandarin Chinese fluency
