Your Key responsibilities:

  • Build complex excel based models to assess and optimize logistics networks for some of the world’s favorite brands. Optimize Cost, Reduce Transit Time, Minimize Carbon Emission.
  • Be the data owner- conduct data scrubbing, ensure accuracy, and provide actionable insights to the project team and clients
  • Conduct RFP comparisons- compiling qualitative and quantitative scorecards to help select the ideal partner for our clients
  • Synthesize the analysis into succinct powerpoint and e-mail communications
  • Assistance to the Project Manager or leadership in delivering proposals and projects
  • Building relationships with external clients and internal peers
  • Prioritizing objectives and contributing to project planning and status reporting
  • Delivering large-scale, complex supply chain management and transformation projects
  • Working in multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of high quality services, consistently and with proven global methodologies and tools
  • Support the development, growth and maintenance of large global accounts and strategic clients across Asia-Pacific and North America


Skills and attributes for success

• Strong professional experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain functions


To qualify for the role you must have:

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business (or equivalent) discipline

• Strong analytics, computer skills and knowledge of Excel is required

• Strong communication, presentation and powerpoint skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in procurement / supply chain / inbound logistics / consulting

• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence

• Ability to develop, present new ideas and conceptualise new approaches and solutions

• Ability to work in Hong Kong and North American time zones


Ideally, you’ll also have

• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams

• Superior verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working for a Consulting firm, Big Four or Industry experience with a strong focus on Inbound Logistics

• Conducted logistics network analysis, 3PL RFPs, or total supply chain network assessments

Examples of Project Specific Work:


Third Party Logistics RFP for warehousing and outbound logistics

  • Support client in sourcing and selecting the ideal 3PL partner for warehousing and outbound logistics
  • Create excel based models to conduct cost comparisons between providers, conducting data validation to ensure accurate quotes and providing insights into key takeaways
  • Conduct a network study to identify ideal locations of distribution centers to optimize total cost, reduce transit time to customer, and minimize carbon footprint.


Inbound Logistics Network Strategy

  • Help support the development of our client’s multi-year inbound logistics roadmap and logistics consolidation initiatives
  • Build a meticulous a detailed excel model at the shipment level assessing opportunity origin consolidation
  • Validate data sources and scrub model to ensure data accuracy
  • Conduct an assessment of impact and opportunities of a new distribution center in North America with impact to cost and transit time
  • Business case creation around costs, savings, and risks
  • Aggregate up findings into executive summaries and powerpoint presentations
