Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal Physiotherapist in developing & managing the physiotherapy services
- Evaluate patient as a basis for planning and implementing an appropriate treatment plan
- Supervise and be a mentor to Physiotherapist II
- Supervise Physiotherapy Assistant & Administrative Assistant
- Plan and deliver training for physiotherapist and other health care professionals
- Administer therapeutic interventions to alleviate impairment of functional limitations and to maximize optimal recovery
- Provide patient and family/ career education
- Initiate and implement patient discharge planning
- Initiate and recommend other rehab disciplines when appropriate assistant and participation are needed in quality improvement projects of the hospital
- Shift duty is required
- Any other duty as assigned by the Principal physiotherapist
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy; a post-graduate qualification is an advantage
- Holder of Certificate of Registration Part 1a with valid practising certificate issued by the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in a hospital setting
- Commitment to quality patient care service
- Strong counselling skills
- Flexible, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good ability of written and spoken in both English and Chinese
