Strong project / category management skills to drive and develop innovative snacks projects. Source & establish new own brand products for our key Asian banners.
Strong understanding of the Chinese retail market is essential. Previous work experience in China is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and consumer data. Completing competitors review to ensure we are developing ranges that differentiate in the market.
Ability to effectively utilize social media platforms, including Rednote, 抖音, Facebook, Instagram and AI tools, to capture and analyze relevant market insights and emerging snack trends.
Identify right suppliers & manage the vendor matrix:
Identify and partnering with suppliers to develop great tasting & innovative products. Negotiate product costing and maximize projects profits.
Product Quality Management: Work closely with technical team to ensure all own brand products are up to company standard.
Budget Control: Oversee purchasing programs and processes and ensure the adherence to approved cost, quality and delivery standards.
Analyze and identify opportunities for cost saving.
Do you have experience in sourcing?
Degree holder with 5 years of experience in Product Development or Management, preferably in Retail/ FMCG
Less experience will be considered as Assistant Product Development Manager
Creative thinking, strong problem-solving skills and multitasking.
Ability to lead projects and work independently.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
