Our client is looking for an Executive chef to run a large scale kitchen operation that produces approximately 3,000 ready to eat meals for schools on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

• Cook in large batches for menu items that involve western and Asian cuisine
• Setup company’s Standards of Operations (SOP) for all food preparation, kitchen sanitization and work area etiquette.
• Consistently monitor food & beverage and labour costs to remain within budgets and maximize the revenue
• Ensure kitchen team and food quality meets KPI in terms of preparation time, customer feedback ratings and menu availability
• Ensure the kitchen area has high standard in food quality, safety & cleanliness
• Work closely with management to design food menus based on customer feedback and promotions

Requirements:

• At least +10 years chef experience in F&B industry with previous experience running large scale kitchens (ideally 2,500 sq ft and above)
• Proven Experience in working in both western and Chinese kitchens
• Experience in creating SOP and designing and executing work procedures for kitchen teams required
• Strong business sense and operational, administrative and social skills
• Strong leadership with good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Self-organized and detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Can Do attitude
