Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and deliver tax compliance work for corporate and individual clients.
  • Lead, manage and deliver tax advisory engagements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Participate in business development activities including developing networks and relationships for business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with tax authorities, external advisors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision.
  • Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder, preferably major in accounting or related disciplines.
  • Qualified accountant with at least 6 years of relevant experience gained from sizable accounting firm and industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax legislation, case law and international tax materials.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Self-driven and passionate about providing exceptional quality service and striving for exceeding clients’ expectations.
  • Proactive and responsible, being a strong, involved and committed team player and meanwhile able to work independently.
