We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Collections Manager (Debt Collection Agency).

Principal responsibilities

  • Manage all activities related to debt collection of unsecured loan products including debt collection agencies (DCAs) management; to assist in the process of Third-Party Risk Management, associated persons’ due diligence assessment exercises and annual review for the DCAs
  • Liaise and communicate with counterparts in both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of collections services and to improve recovery performance
  • Perform daily operations on debt collection with external debt collection agencies
  • Provide prompt responses and recommendations on collection strategies and workflows to accommodate rapidly changing market, customer feedback and complaints
  • Prepare statistical and ad-hoc reports for management review; to perform accounts maintenance and provide administration supports
  • Co-ordinate and implement of projects, operation, system, UAT and manpower related issues to ensure smooth delivery of credit collection services as well as ad hot operational tasks
  • Ensure adherence to legal and Group regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices

Requirements

  • University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in debt recovery / unsecured lending and mortgage business, with exposure to credit control / administration
  • Strong self-motivation, good interpersonal, communication, credit analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of PC application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
