Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, investment research, macro-economic analysis, industry trends, build the relevant financial models for financial advisory and investment purposes;
• Assist in performing feasibility studies and due diligence, preparation of investment proposals;
• Prepare reports in relation to industrial outlook, market fundamentals, company earnings, business and financial analysis;
• Track actual investment performance and produce variance analysis reports;
• Prepare frequent project reviews with emphasis on reviewing key assumptions, identifying market trends, performing sensitivity analysis and scenario planning;
• Conduct seminars and assist in brand promoting events as required by the Company;
• Prepare internal analytical reports, market commentaries and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting, Economics or Finance; CFA candidate or CFA charterholder is an advantage;
• 5 years relevant experience with financial institutions working in the field of investment research and analysis, trading strategies and operations;
• Sound knowledge in financial product such as securities, futures, stock options, gold and excellent financial modeling skill;
• High proficiency at Microsoft Office and other third party online data services, e.g. Bloombergto gather data for further analysis;
• Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua is must;
• Proactive, detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for more junior positions in Research Department
