Our Client:

Our client is a well-established insurance company offering comprehensive risk and wealth management solutions. As part of their ongoing business growth, they are seeking energetic and driven professionals to join the team and grow alongside them in this exciting journey.

The incumbent will be reporting to Manager directly.

Job Description:

  • Ensure alignment with the risk management framework, policies, and procedures across Life Operations.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage operational risks within business processes in Hong Kong and Macau.
  • Oversee the implementation and tracking of action plans to address findings from regulatory inspections.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically review procedure manuals for compliance areas such as AML, FATCA/CRA, Data Retention, and other relevant regulations.
  • Partner with Life Operations, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams to strengthen the alignment between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense, ensuring effective risk oversight and compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate regulatory inspections, internal reviews, risk assessments, and follow-up monitoring activities to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and timely resolution of findings.
  • Support Life Operations in implementing robust process controls as the 1st line of defense, while reviewing and enhancing procedures and user requirements to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Risk Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years in audit/compliance/risk management within the financial services sector, preferably Life Familiarity with regulatory inspections and operational compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and effective communicator. Able to work under pressure with excellent time management.
  • Candidate with more experience can be considered as Assistant Manager.

Languages
Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
