The Candidate:
We are looking for dynamic, driven and strategic individuals, with a good command of English, who have a genuine interest and passion in wine to join our energetic team. Holders of tertiary education in hospitality who specialises in food and beverage or wine management, or have work experience in those industries are preferred.  Candidates with wine-specific qualification such as WSET Level 2 is an advantage. 

 

The Role:
Reporting to Senior Sales Manager, you will have the responsibility of developing new business, identifying collaboration opportunities, organizing events, implementing market strategies and, if assigned to existing accounts to grow the sales performance. There will be on-the-job sales training, as well as wine training through our monthly internal wine tastings and opportunities to attend large-scale international tastings guided by a senior member in the team. Remuneration includes basic salary, sales commission and target-based incentive. Five-day work week with medical insurance.   

 

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for all aspects of sales within the portfolio that are assigned to you, including, but not limited to:

  • Identify and establish new business/accounts through cold calls and networking;
  • Working closely with existing accounts to constantly seek for new opportunities;
  • Identify event collaboration to promote our wine brands;
  • Be a team player and assist in events, trainings and presentations where required;
  • Look after overseas suppliers when they are visiting and conduct trade visits;
  • Maintain business records and account information according to the requirement of the Company;
  • Ensure the accounts are up-to-date with payments and enforce credit limits where necessary;
  • Implement new marketing strategies.
