Responsibilities

 Operations Management:

• Oversee and drive productivity and positive customer outcomes within the local insurance operations.
• Manage project funnel and take responsibility for timely and efficient delivery.
• Lead and ensure compliance with Allianz Group standards in relation to local outsourcing function, business continuity and security, protection & resiliency, and data privacy. 

IT Governance & Compliance:

• Implement and maintain IT governance frameworks and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Allianz Group standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

Security Management:

• Oversee the development and implementation of security strategies and protocols.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure data protection and cybersecurity measures are in place

Team Leadership:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of IT professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.

Operational Excellence :

• Optimize IT operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage IT budgets, resources, and projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations and IT department.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align IT strategy with business objectives.
• Communicate IT policies and procedures to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on governance and security.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CISA.
• Experience with cloud technologies and cybersecurity tools.
• Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
