The role and its scope

• Frequent travels to factory in Shenzhen and Guangdong province 
• Sustain and manage the development execution of Native Union's products 
• Responsible and accountable for the ON-TIME, ON-BUDGET, and ON-SPEC launch of the assigned project categories 
• Intensive interaction with Design, Engineering, Quality, Sales Teams, and external vendors. 
• Comfortably address communication with people at all levels

In this role, you will need to 

• Review and analyze product design brief 
• Create, develop and manage program schedule 
• Work with internal team to ensure products comply with Native Union internal quality standard 
• Report program status to management 
• Be able to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent programs independently
• Be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively 
• Be smart, attentive to details, organized and reliable 

What you’ll bring to us 

• Degree holder in Engineering disciplines or equivalent; Specialization in Manufacturing is strongly preferred
• Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Mandarin are MUST 
• Min of 3-5 years of experience in consumer product development, experience with phone case and softgoods will be a plus
• Experience on working with China based ODM vendors is a definite advantage 
• Hands on experience on packaging development is an advantage
• Willing to adapt to flexible work hours and work hard towards controlling the launch date of the products. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) 
• Fresh graduates can be considered for the role of Junior Product Developer
