Key Responsibilities :

• Design Engagement Experiences within Discovery Space (DS).
• Plan, prepare and carry out provocations and learning activities.
• Engaging, extending, and facilitating children and families.
• Initiating and forming positive relationships with children and families visiting DS.
• Safety and risk inspectors of learning environments and engagements.
• Ensuring children’s safety and childminding.
• Facilitating specialized learning programmes.
• Working alongside school visits.
• Plan, collect, design, and prepare YCECDC documentation.
• Manage and maintain resources throughout DS.
• Touring and hosting VIPs.
• Involvement in Professional Development hosted by YCECDC.
• Working as a positive and collaborative team member within the YCECDC staffing team.
• Working alongside the YCECDC team to facilitate YCCECE student involvement and oversight.

Job Requirements :

• Hold a minimum of Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of one year’s relevant teaching experience in early childhood settings.
• Microsoft Office, Social Media Accounts.
• Should have excellent first language abilities (Cantonese or English), as well as conversational second language (conversational English is required by all YCECDC staff).
• Should possess effective communication skills, as well as relational, supportive, and team-player attributes.
• Should demonstrate responsible and committed working ethic, as well as advocacy and ambassadorial skills.
