A leading Western investment bank is looking for a Team Lead to join their expanding team. In this role, you will oversee a small team responsible for daily trade processing and settlement. We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in this area, particularly with a strong background in treasury and bond settlement.

about the job

• Lead a small team, oversee trade and settlement process of treasury and equity products
• Perform second-level checks and validations for the team
• Ensure timely processing and efficient settlement of daily transactions
• Communicate with clients about confirmations and settlement issues
• Monitor cash movements in the custodian account and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with projects and system enhancements UAT
• Handle daily internal control reporting
  

skills & experiences required

• 8-10 years of experience in settlement
• Good understanding in Treasury settlement and trade processing, especially bonds
• Familiar with settlement system such as Euroclear, Clearstream and CMU
• Excellent communication skills, detail minded and good problem-solving skills
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
