Our client is a well-known organisation. They are currently hiring a System Specialist to handle L2 IT server and network administration and support to a dynamic and energetic team.

Responsibilities:

• Server Management: Oversee server and virtual machine (VM) management, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality
• Backup and Recovery: Perform server backup tasks and manage restore operations in the event of system crashes
• System Monitoring and Analysis: Conduct system monitoring with log analysis to identify and resolve issues,
• Patch Management: Apply updates, patches, and service packs to maintain security compliance and address system vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux environments
• Network Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and configuration support for network devices, including firewalls, Cisco switches, access points, and Wi-Fi systems
• New System Implementation: Facilitate the setup of new systems, servers, and VMs
• Project Support: Assist with ad-hoc project implementations

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any related disciplines
• 5+ years of network and server support with hands on experience in Server and VM Management, Patch Management e.g., Window and Linux patches
• Knowledge in Troubleshooting and configuration on Firewall, Cisco Switch, Assess Point & Wi-Fi
• A good team player with a strong skills of problem solving and communication
• Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure, demonstrating resilience and adaptability

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Contract renewal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
