RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead classes for children aged 9 months to 4 years
• Teach playgroup parents about developmental skills, stages, and relevant activities that they can do to foster their child's growth
• Provide a caring, supportive, and enriching experience for each child
• Facilitate developmentally appropriate activities that foster social-emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
• Assess and monitor students’ development and progress through observations, reports and communication with parents on a regular basis
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom

REQUIREMENTS

• Native English speaker
• Candidates with qualification in Child Psychology, Child Development, Early Childhood Education or a related field (QKT, CE, MEd, BEd, PGDE etc) required
• At least 1 year of experience teaching babies, toddlers and preschoolers in a playgroup or pre-nursery setting is strongly recommended
• Phonics experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage children and parents, and collaborate with families
• Boundless energy, patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children

Schedule:

• Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday or Friday (with a possibility of more hours as well)
