Duties: The appointee is responsible for the conduct of compliance checks and internal audits including evaluation of controls and execution of audit tests to ensure the controls in place are adequate and effective. The incumbent is also required to provide administrative support to the Internal Audit Unit.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably with major in accountancy, finance or a related field;
(b) 3 years’ working experience in accounting/ auditing, with experience in internal auditing will be an advantage;
(c) A professional accounting or auditing designation, or significant progress towards obtaining one, is preferred;
(d) Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
(e) Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese, both oral and written; and
(f) Able to plan and organize the work independently in a multi-tasking environment.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
