Purchasing Officer
Responsibilities
- Responsible for a wide range of supplies purchasing of construction materials
- Perform full cycle of purchasing activities from sourcing, price negotiation, develop supplier network and long term partnership
- Understanding of the material specification and process effective cost comparison
- Support the regular review and analysis of product categories, supplier performance and market intelligence for team management review
- Handle buyers’ enquiries & complaints via operation platform and direct contact on pre-sales & post sales issues
- Handle ad hoc tasks or resolve issues where needed
Requirements
- Diploma or above in Business Administration, Purchasing, Logistic, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in construction materials purchasing would be an advantage
- Knowledge in Supply Chain Management is preferred
- Construction Site Visits are required if necessary
- Good team spirit, self-motivated, well-orhganized and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
