Job Purpose:
Support the business control team on internal process optimization, responsible for risk control, compliance management and other strategic initiatives.
Accountabilities:
•Work with internal parties to assist in the update of Treasury related workflows, procedures and guidelines.
• Implement internal controls to ensure daily activities by Treasury are in compliance withregulatory requirements and internal procedures
• Be responsible for driving the process review and validation initiative especially in the planning and fieldwork of the validation process in order to assess the effectiveness of China CITIC Bank Hong Kong Branch controls
• Assist in operational risk monitoring and to implement proper controls and measures to address operational risk issues
• Assist in all Treasury projects from a control perspective
• Work with Controls & Compliance Group to drive and implement regulatory initiatives
• Work with Internal Audit to resolve audit issues
• Support the regulatory submission & reporting processes
Requirements:
• Degree holder in Business, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience and preferable related to treasury.
• Holder of Certified Treasury Management Professional (CTMP) under the HKMA ECF on TM is preferred.
• Knowledge of Treasury products, bonds, FX / Interest Rate derivatives is preferred.
• Knowledge in HKMA guidelines and relevant regulatory framework.
