The Department

The Veterinary Clinical Services department (DVCS) provides professional veterinary services within a larger corporate environment. The Racing Section provide veterinary services to over 1400 Thoroughbred racehorses at the Club’s Sha Tin racecourse in Hong Kong and Conghua Racecourse and training Centre (CRC) in the Greater Bay Area of Southern China. 

 

The Job

You will:

  • Perform daily Equine Affairs administrative duties thoroughly in a timely manner, and ensure that the relevant operating procedures and statutory requirements are complied with;
  • Perform routine administrative duties for Conghua Racecourse horse movement, ensure functional teams are well informed of required tasks and updated with latest information;
  • Responsible for horse importation and backing up of horse exportation administrative duties;
  • Assists in consolidation and maintenance of SOP for departmental stakeholders to ensure they are documented up-to-date and according to the club policy;
  • Perform daily administration tasks, including licensing, permits application and other related arrangement;
  • Perform finance and accounting tasks, including charging, payment, reimbursement and other related veterinary charges update.

 

About You

You should have:

  • A Degree in Business Administration or Accountancy or equivalent;
  • Fresh Graduate or 1-2 years related experience in handling administration or finance functions at sizeable corporations;
  • Basic corporate administration and basic accounting knowledge are mandatory;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook; Basic knowledge in Access, English and Chinese word-processing;
  • Experience in preparing accounting process including Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Charging is preferable;
  • Experience in consolidating and maintaining company policies, procedures, and SOP is preferable;
  • Fluent communication in Cantonese and English;
  • Strong communication skills to cooperate and negotiate well with different stakeholders;
  • An proactive mindset, self-initiative, strong sense of responsibility, good problem solving and openness to learn and change.
