Responsibilities:
- Assist the Section Head/Corporate Events Managers in organising the Council's corporate events and public relations services, Directorate’s networking and outreach activities, youth and CSR programmes
- Support the planning and management of corporate events and PR initiatives, including guest invitations, event logistics, onsite operations and post-event follow-ups
- Collaborate with both internal and external vendors/suppliers to ensure the successful execution of events
- Collaborate with Hong Kong designers/suppliers to produce distinctive corporate souvenirs
- Maintain the guest database and monitor the daily news clippings
Requirements:
- University graduates, preferably in disciplines of event management, public relations or marketing, and with at least 4 years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in organising large-scale/corporate events and international trade promotional campaigns or youth programmes would be an advantage
- Good project management skills, attentive to details, strong analytical and creative thinking; capable of handling unexpected changes that happened during the organisation of events
- Excellent verbal and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), and effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise among assignments to meet tight deadlines, willing to work long hours during event season and to function effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Proficient in MS applications and Chinese word-processing
Remuneration and Benefits:
