Our client, a prestigious luxury home textile brand with a global presence, is seeking a talented Textile Specialist to join their Hong Kong office. This role is pivotal in providing technical and commercial support to the local sales network and managing customer complaints across the APAC region. The primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction and bolster the company's market presence in the regional textile industry.

Your Role
As a Textile Specialist, you will:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to offer technical support on textile products.
  • Assist in preparing technical presentations and sales materials.
  • Participate in customer meetings to provide technical advice and resolve product-related queries.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints related to textile products by coordinating with internal departments (production, quality, logistics).
  • Conduct quality inspections at supplier locations in Asia and provide technical support to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the textile sector and organise training sessions for the sales team and customers.
  • Work closely with production and quality departments to ensure product standards are met and collaborate with the global team to align commercial strategies and technical support initiatives.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • A degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the textile industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of textile production processes and materials.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve technical problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide high-quality service.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
