The Opportunity

As a Summer Finance Intern at Auros, you will gain exposure to different areas of our business operations, primarily collaborating with the finance and legal teams under the guidance of the CFO. You will be involved in market assessments, data analysis, risk management and venture capital analysis, while also assisting in legal and compliance tasks. 

This versatile role will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the interconnected dynamics within the blockchain industry and work on projects such as:

Market Analysis

• Map the market size in terms of size, major players and potential growth and customer segments for market making, OTC, prop trading, etc.
• Assess the sectors for each business line and the related size and Auros’ position in the market
• Study the customer segments to understand their expectations and need gaps
• Analyze the growth drivers, barriers and trends for each business line
• Review ways Auros can expand market share compared to competitors

Competitor Analysis

• Identify potential new international entrants into the market
• Identify primary competitors for each sector and their respective market size and:
• Identify new business expansion of competitors
• Research past and/or existing valuation
•  Research where are competitors expanding into
• Identify what our competitors are doing
• Revenue stream
• Product offerings
• Target clients
• Size of company
• Estimated headcount
• Research regulatory jurisdiction of competitors and exchanges to identify where and what we can operate
• Utilise public portals such as hiring portals, Linkedin, Web3.career to research their hiring location and roles
• Research on EBITDA multiples and comps on M&A or VC funding of companies similar to Auros in the industry or trading industry.

Fund Raising 

• Curate a list of virtual data room providers and obtain quotations
• Curate a list of trading companies (not just in crypto – also in traditional markets)
• Identify previous fund raising and valuation.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A high degree of enthusiasm and interest in working within the crypto and blockchain industry.
• Currently studying an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Previous internship experience preferred,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and exceptional problem-solving skills
• We require a driven individual with the ability to work autonomously 
• Analytical mindset and research skills
• You can work in English.
