Responsible for assisting the respective Team Head to monitor the respective service operations and ensuring the daily operations are in accordance with the statutory requirements and the Bank’s standard procedures.
Upkeep the image of the Bank by maintaining proper operation of facilities; namely security, cleaning and property management
Supervise in-house and out-sourced subordinates to provide all-rounded facilities services support and improve work quality and service level
Identify and prevent risk & hazards, take corrective action and investigate incident
Process budgeting in ensuring adequate resources to support the facilities and services provided to customers
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) in supporting the tendering/purchasing stipulation in accordance with the Bank’s requirement
Maintain proper record of all related activities required by the Bank and/or relevant regulatory authorities
Work closely with all business units and customers to identify problems and obstacles and develop resourceful solutions to ensure the effectiveness of facilities and services provided to customers
Participate in property management and facilities management development projects and perform various project management tasks to support leasing activities.
Establish and implement new approaches, systems, structures and methods to facilitate subordinates to manage all related processes and procedures in high quality standards to cope with changes effectively and efficiently
Coordinate the development and formulation of policies, guidelines and strategies to address long-term customer and stakeholder needs and concerns
Develop team members and inspire them to attend respective trainings to improve themselves both personality and professionally
Assist supervisors to identify problems and obstacles and develop resourceful solutions proficiently and creatively to ensure the effectiveness of services provided
Comply with all applicable regulations, rules codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
Requirements:
University graduate, preferably major in Facilities Management, Property Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent; OR
Preferable 3-5 years in supervisory position cover the following:
Sound knowledge in business operations and able to prepare and interpret financial budgets;
Sound knowledge of facilities management / property management and able to lead a team to ensure excellent facilities management services provided;
Good understanding of relevant regulations, policies, procedures, practices and rules;
Strong leadership and problem solving skills
Highly independent with ability to interact with multi-cultural teams
A very good team player with good communication skills and risk awareness
Good PC skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Possess recognized professional membership of IFMA, HKIFM, RICS, CIH, PMSA, HKIH or relevant qualifications equivalent is an advantage
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; sound Putonghua is preferable
