We are headquartered in Hong Kong with operations and representation in Australia, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Netherlands & UK. We operate a factory based in the UK specializing in the collection and recycling of plastic waste generated from industry and manufacturing .


What You’ll Do


You’ll build and lead a world-class purchasing and sales team covering the Asia market, enabling us to fulfill our mission to become the world’s largest recycled plastics commodities company. You’ll be dedicated to upholding the standards that have made Vanden one of the world leaders in recyclable plastic commodity trading.


In addition to leading our existing team in HK, Malaysia & Vietnam, you will start by executing sales and developing customers yourself to gain expertise about our products and industry and understand the market dynamics across the re

gion. Building the right team to meet short and long-term objectives is key. You will spend a lot of time in the market and executing trades as a way to demonstrate viability.


You and your team will create sales for existing recycled plastic supplies generated from our global locations and develop supply sources locally that will deliver reliable quality feedstock to our customers around the world.

  • Utilize your business development experience to master existing purchasing and sales processes.
  • Develop supply relationships with local recycling companies & execute profitable export trades.
  • Determine the countries and regions where purchasing and/or sales representation is required on the ground.
  • Develop a clear strategic plan to deliver immediate and long-term targets in theregion.
  • Engage in constant and active risk management, ensuring systems are in place to support.
  • Lead the team to enhance sales skills, material knowledge, and industry knowledge through formal training, coaching, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.


What we hope you’ll bring


  • Direct experience in Regional Sales Management or Director experience in a plastics or recyclable commodities business.
  • Experience managing both in-person and remote teams
  • Prior to Management roles, demonstrable experience in Sales or Business Development with a successful track record.
  • Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese and English.
  • A strong ability to negotiate with customers, maximizing margins and closing deals.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of integrity.
