Our client is an investment firm building a differentiated Asia-focused, multi-strategy platform. They are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (React/Python) to join their Core Tech team.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Development: Build, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that are scalable, efficient, and secure.
• Backend Expertise: Design, optimize, and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Frontend Expertise: Develop responsive and user-centric interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with team members across disciplines, mentor junior engineers, and foster best practices.
• Production Support: Demonstrate strong ownership by quickly addressing production issues and communicating resolutions clearly to stakeholders.
• Versatility: Adapt to various roles as required, including hands-on coding, architectural discussions, and system optimizations.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelors' or above in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in software development.
• Backend:
• Strong experience in Python (required), with bonus points for Rust, C++, or a JVM language (Java/Scala).
• Frontend:
• Expertise in modern front-end stacks such as React.js/Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership & bias for action.

• Be present at the office at least 4 times a week.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with finance and trading domain, particularly in multi-strategy hedge funds, is a significant plus.
• Experience working in full-stack development including but not limited to server-side programming, RESTful API / GraphQL development, etc.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, AWS/GCP, CDNs, etc.
• Integration experience with financial systems such as Bloomberg API.
• Experience in developing complex distributed systems or building sizable applications from scratch.
