Develop a streamlined and Collection in Asia based on global offerings and local demands to drive business expansion
Build Collection framework, Product curation, Mix of product categories, Diversity in pricing, Identifying product gaps and ensuring alignment and Reviewing Wholesale SMU
Coordinate seasonal merchandising activities at each stage, including Product Briefing, Collection Meetings, Driving Collection Meetings, and each product launch
Inform Headquarters by evaluating feedback from markets and studying competitors' trends and behaviors
Define the essential Asia collection with the Central Team to cover Brand vision and business requirements
Engage in market discussions regarding product features and capitalize on any overlooked opportunities in the region
Collaborate with Headquarters to tailor the in-store activity plan to suit an Asia-centric and commercially viable approach
Strategize and foster strong collaboration with various departments
Present sketches and seasonal strategies to the markets
Recommend and categorize the retail/wholesale Collection of Shoes and Leather Accessories
Maintain systems and create sales tools to support sales activities at Asia workshops during DTA
Enhance brand consistency in the Region by optimizing assortment consistency across markets
Review product mix and retail pricing in the product offering
Provide purchasing recommendations for Asia markets
Analyze product collections to ensure they are productive, efficient, and in line with Brand expectations
Analyze seasonal sell-outs with Planning and offer purchasing recommendations to key markets to drive sales
About the Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in assortment planning in the Fashion, FMCG sectors, working in Retail, Licensees, Distributors, or Franchises
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Customer-oriented approach is essential
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Willingness to be hands-on and dive in when required
Exceptional abilities in collaboration, communication, and negotiation
Positive, competitive, confident, and self-motivated personality
Experience working with diverse cultures is a plus
Retail buying experience is advantageous
Fluent in English and Chinese.
