Due to business expansion, they are now seeking for a high calibre professional to join them as Assistant Human Resources Manager.
About the role
Accurately and timely process payroll, including salaries, allowances, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
Assist in transitioning of HRIS by managing data migration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure all payroll functions operate correctly in the new system.
Identify inefficiencies in current payroll processes and implement improvements. This may involve automating tasks, optimizing workflows.
Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and ensure payroll practices comply with relevant regulations. Provide guidance to HR and finance teams on legislative updates impacting payroll.
Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related queries, effectively resolving issues and maintaining professional and confidential communication with employees and management.
Prepare detailed reports on payroll activities, trends, and variances to support strategic decisions. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
The Successful Applicant
Degree holder with major in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines.
Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in payroll management, preferably within large enterprises or multinational corporations. Experience with system migration projects is highly desirable.
Expertise in Excel and reporting tools, capable of handling complex data analysis and reporting tasks.
In-depth understanding of Hong Kong labor laws and payroll practices, ensuring all payroll activities comply with legal requirements.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.
Fluency in reading and writing both English and Chinese.
